Maura grew up playing any sport she could get her hands on including soccer, softball, volleyball, basketball, and cross country, but she ultimately found lacrosse and stuck with it throughout her time at St. Ambrose. Being an athlete for the last 15 years really drove her interest in sports medicine and working with athletes. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and various diagnoses. She experienced her first clinical rotation at Community Hospital in Munster, Indiana which opened her eyes to acute care therapy and expanded her interest in different therapy settings. Outpatient physical therapy is where she feels she can let her creativity shine while helping patients return to their lives. She looks forward to expanding her knowledge with the latest research to give her patients the best care possible.
