Cassandra Woolley
PT, DPT
“My top priority is to take the time to learn and understand a patient’s goals and motivations in order to tailor care effectively. I want my patients to feel understood and heard, paying attention to small details of dysfunction that lead to challenges in their everyday life. I believe that through understanding and attention to detail, this gives patients the very best chance possible to return to daily life and recreation without pain or limitation. In my clinical rotations, I was able to treat many individuals including athletes, aging adults, and children. Treating individuals across the lifespan has helped prepare me to meet patients where they are, as well as help them on their journey to where they want to be.”
Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Kinesiology – The University of Michigan
Doctorate in Physical Therapy – Drexel University
APTA PH1 Certification
Cassandra found physical therapy through her desire to help people in her community. She grew up participating in activities that support individuals with special needs including volunteering for Special Olympics, therapeutic horseback riding, and adaptive gym classes. Being able to connect with her community on a personal and meaningful level is something that she is fortunate to do in her everyday life as a PT. She hopes to continue to impact the lives of others, striving to fill the needs in the world around her.
She is proud to have recently taken her pelvic health level one certification after seeing the difference that pelvic health therapy can make in people’s lives, especially knowing that it can be difficult to find a provider.
