I truly enjoy helping patients improve their quality of life. I aim to provide individualized care that is tailored to a patient’s impairments, needs, and goals. I enjoy treating all types of complexities of diagnoses including chronic pain, acute traumas, sports injuries, back pain with or without radicular symptoms, and limitations affecting gait or walking. I love helping a wide variety of patients who may have goals of returning back to sport or an exercise regimen, are weekend warriors, or have been sedentary for some time and are not sure how to safely return to exercise. Because I treat such a wide variety of diagnoses and patient case scenarios, it motivates me to specialize in various manual techniques and methods to further assist patients in reaching their goals. I aim to help those with complex or even previous failed physical therapy experiences to show them how their body can heal with the proper guidance and technique. I reassess based on objective and subjective information to help a patient heal as efficiently as possible and will modify my treatment approach as needed. I enjoy being there for the patient every step of their journey through mind, body, and spirit.

I enjoy treating general orthopedic injuries, sport injuries, post and pre surgical rehab, and chronic pain. In regard to chronic pain, understanding how the brain can affect pain levels and how it perceives pain helps me guide patients through their expectations, so they do not lose hope in their recovery. I like understanding the biomechanics of the body to help patients restore any lost mobility in their joints. My specialty in manual techniques helps me use hands on assistance to muscular restrictions and/or joint restrictions in addition to general soft tissue adhesions. Going through my NAIOMT certification to receive my COMT also helps me screen patients for non-musculoskeletal diagnoses in case their pain may be originating from other non-musculoskeletal tissues in the body which may need further evaluation.
Personal Interests: I love spending time with my husband and two children. We enjoy nature activities and finding fun creative indoor activities, especially during the cold seasons. I love running, hot yoga, aerial yoga, cooking almost anything and any recipe and putting a healthy twist on it, and baking new sourdough recipes. I also believe in good nutrition and following an anti-inflammatory type of diet to help improve the body’s function and quality of life.
