Daniel Lenz
PT, DPT
I entered the field of physical therapy to help people feel heard, understood, and to give them hope for days when they can more easily do the things they love. I love being a source of light and laughter, and I hope I can bring this to all my patients! Taking the time to educate patients on their current condition and the path to healing is very important to me. I had the privilege of growing up with a brother with special needs and have been a part of many organizations (Best Buddies, Special Olympics) in which I have developed a passion and skill for forging connections not only with the person/patient in front of me, but also with their support network. I value a patient-centered approach to care and really enjoy giving my patients all the tools they need to be successful in the clinic and beyond.
Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Biology – University of Wisconsin-Madison
Doctorate in Physical Therapy – University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
Doctorate of Physical Therapy
I have been a soccer player nearly all of my life; I have played at a high level at the club, high school, and collegiate level. At of the end of 2024, I finished my 6th year coaching at my alma mater – Marquette University High School. Due to this experience, I enjoy working with younger athletes and relate well to their motivations as they pursue excellence for their high school and club teams, and at the college level. I also had the pleasure of spending 12 weeks working in a senior living facility as a PT intern my final year at UWM and really enjoyed working with the older adult population. Diverse experiences in sports, internships, and in my personal life (working with individuals with special needs), have made me comfortable with a variety of patient populations. Through my internships, I gained a lot of experience and expertise working with the shoulder, back, knee, and foot/ankle.
I enjoy listening to podcasts, following the work of the top minds in the PT world, and staying up to date on the latest research to ensure I am providing the highest quality care to my patients. Within the next few months, I will begin a manual therapy program and look forward to furthering my manual education to better treat and support my patients!
