I see physical therapy as a team effort. I enjoy being a great teammate for my patients in that I try to empower them during their recovery journey. I see it as my job to create a positive environment where people feel comfortable to ask questions, be honest, and push themselves further than they thought they could. I believe in making every patient an informed and active participant in their recovery, so they know that when they see progress, it’s because they put in the work to see those results. I think that is a really empowering experience for both the clinician and the patient, and I love playing my part for the team.

I enjoy working with the orthopedic population and seeing a wide variety of individuals of varying ages and conditions including sports injuries, low back pain, chronic pain, post-operative patients, and many others! I am especially interested in working with individuals with jaw/facial pain or temporomandibular disorder (TMD) and have plans to pursue this specialization further as I progress in my career as a physical therapist. I am currently in the process of obtaining my certification in trigger point dry needling, and I am really looking forward to utilizing this technique in clinical practice. In addition to being a licensed physical therapist, I am also a certified personal trainer and enjoy coming up with a variety of new exercises that are therapeutic and purposeful depending on the individual I am working with. My other personal interests include traveling, scuba diving, snowboarding, anything with animals, and spending time with my family, friends, boyfriend, dog, and cat.
